Testimonials
See the difference SANCACEC is making in people’s lives.

My experience has been informative, and an eye-opener.
The meetings, classes and process on how to become more powerful as a being has helped me in my journey so far… I will always be grateful.

When I came to SANCA, I told myself that I’m just doing this programme to gain back trust and please my family.
From the support and training I received from the time in the centre, I was able to change my mind and do this for myself and I developed a desire to stop using drugs. To keep my recovery, I had to continue to attend support groups at SANCA where I go to meet friends who support and help me. Not only did I stop using drugs, but I stopped alcohol as well….. thank you SANCA for helping me see the light and direction to my recovery.

The first time I came to SANCA I was overwhelmed with emotions.
Mentally and emotionally I wasn’t ready to fully appreciate the experience which resulted in me cutting my time short. I need to get to a place of acknowledging that I had a drug problem and needed help.
This resulted in me coming back to SANCA for a second time. I now know that I need to change my life.
My social worker has helped me immensely in my recovery, which I will be forever grateful for… staff and management have been welcoming, supportive and kind. I am forever grateful to SANCA and their community for all the assistance and support during my in-patient stay, and the continued support as an out-patient on my recovery journey.
I feel like I have been given a second lease on life.

…the best thing for my recovery was coming to SANCA. I was an alcoholic, was having financial problems, got angry for no reason and was arguing with my girlfriend in front of my child.
I also lied to get what I want, which was alcohol. SANCA gave me the opportunity to talk and express myself… and gave me help in how to deal with my problem. SACA taught me to take it ‘one day at a time’.
Now I’m facing the world. Thanks SANCA.

All SANCA staff wwere friendly, kind, caring and loving. I have learned from SANCA CEC how to love myself, improve my self-esteem, how to deal with anger, strss and depression; to always think positive. I’ve learned the main dangers of alcohol… and that is can destroy your family relationships, workplace relationships and your financial situation.
I thank SANCA CEC for giving me this knowledge… and thank all the group session members for the support.
